How can I display a formatted date in the Object Name Pattern? When I use the attributr identifer for a Date datatype it displays the date serial number. I would like it to display a formatted date. Can this be done?

Hi,

I don't think that it is possible to format the date in order to make it appear nicer in this particular case. The number you're looking at is not a serial number, it is most probably the UNIX timestamp of the date+time that was stored.

This is really frustrating. This should be possible... it is completely useless in UNIX timestamp. Can this be built into ezPublish somehow?

I got the same problem.
I do need a date attribute in the object name. but in yyyy.mm.dd format - a timestamp is absolutly useless for me!

I think the object name ist just string, that is created wehen stroring the new article. So it must be quite easy to change the storing-format! but where can I do this????

thanks!
