nice URLs (url_alias) and multiple location: how to force to use only the main one ?

Hello,

When you put an object under several location (folderA and folderB) it is translated into two different url (/folderA/item and /folderB/item) even if it's the same content.

IMHO, that's a bad thing for at least two reasons:
1) the search engines use the number of incoming links to estimate the quality of the page. If you have two urls for the same content, you will obviously split the incomming links between them, hence lowering your score.
2) Duplicating the same content tends to be seen as robot spamming, ie not indexed
3) You lure you visitors, giving them the impression that their is more content than really.

Can we set a parameter somewhere to have the path always translated to the main location ?

Thanks in advance,

Xavier
