Need Help with Page layouts

I created a new frontpage on my site http://www.djcyclone.com, but I do not wish to have two coloms, just on maybe the mainpage and a few others... all I want is the bio page to display the left hand colom streched across the page, and nothing else.

If you want a more complexe solution you need to create your class BiographiePage and to overide the /node/view/full.tpl template with a class filter on your class. To create your class go in setup/classes and to overide go in design/templates. Help you with the frontpage example. An over solution, if you want to add many biographie easily in a frontpage. You will create a class Biographie, overide /content/view/full.tpl, Then to add a biographie you have to insert a new Biographie in your frontpage and, in the edit, click on the "insert object" button and select your instense.
