Hi, Is there already, or can anyone contribute, a package for multi-page articles? There's been a few forum and documentation articles on creating classes and templates for multi-page articles. The EZ site has article multi-page and article sub-page objects (for examples, see community/articles section.) It sounds like other people have put them together too. Rather than have each ez publish developer/user re-invent this function for themselves, by creating and sharing functions like this, we can make better use of our overall EZ community's time and efforts ... more value-adding development, testing and other activities :-) This is really important because ...
EZ Community Strategies ... some thoughts and observations Although EZ Publish is - so far - still well ahead of other CMS products, the level of activity and engagement being achieved by other CMS communities means they are likely to catch up ... and fast. EZ systems can not, by themselves, compete with the innovation and development capability of whole open source communities. It's just not possible. This is why we're strategically important to EZ systems ...and why ezpedia and EZ / Kristof Cooman's work on Project areas (projects.ez.no) etc is strategically important too. Anyway, I suggest anything we can do to avoid re-inventing wheels and to make effective use of time/effort across the large world-wide community of EZ users/developers is worthwhile. I'll be doing what I can, and in the meantime, if anyone can point me in the direction of a multi-page article package, I would appreciate it.
Thanks & regards - Paul Wilson
