Hi,

I would like to use an override of desing/admin/template/visual/menuconfig.tpl but I don't know how to do ?

I noticed that for design/standard/templates/setup/quick_settings.tpl that if I want to use an override I only have to copy this file in desing/admin/override/template/setup/ and then it is automatically used by all admin siteaccess. So I don't need to write override rule.

But nothing works with menuconfig.tpl

Is there a way to use an override or should I modify the file itself ?

Regards

Pascal

Hi Pascal,

try to set the override via the admin interface (tab design, templates in lefthand menu). When I tried it this way (ez 3.8.3, shop package), an override rule was set in override.ini.append.php for siteaccess shop_admin and the override template was used without problems.

I am not sure why it does not work when you put the overriding template in the appropiate folder. It seems to be caused by some interference between the three override.ini files actually used: override.ini.append.php and override.ini.append.compat in siteaccess admin and the override.ini in siteaccess shop_admin. This is really just a vague assumption, I did not do any tests to confirm this.

Good luck

Claudia
