Keeping substructure when adding a location.

Due to problems with WebDAV, resulting in not being able to upload into galeries in the content section I'm forced to upload my images into galleries in the media section. My thought was that I could have an extra location for the gallery in question. But, as I do this, the images in the galleri don't "come along". The new location has no subnodes..
