Internet Explorer and file download

Tore Skobba	Tuesday 17 February 2004 2:36:26 am Hi I have started to get strange errors when using the binary files. My site is running EZ 3-3.2 with the online editor, to access the site I am using IE 6.XX. The problems are in my custom designed site, trying to download an jpg file which has been added as an BINARY file does not work in IE, while in Opera and Mozilla it works. Secondly if I change the extension on the image file to something else (i.e rename it). Then the upload functionaliy with IE is not working! When I try to upload the file it is listed with size 0 kB and not available. While if I use Opera or Moz to upload the file it works. Once the JPG file with an new extension is uploaded then I CAN download it with IE from my custom design. As such it seems as *.jpg as an file creates loads of problems, anyone know why? Have anyone had any similar problems and can point me to what I am doing wrong? Cheers Tore

Same error there! 1: Upload jpg image as binary file attachment 2: Clicking on link with Mozilla 1.6 and Opera 7.22 works fine (i.e. image is shown) 3: Using Internet Explorer 6.XX to view image gives error, file is not found, both when saving and viewing file. I now this works in the 3.3-1

I have noticed a similar error on ez.no after the they put up the new site.

Just test it on another site running EZ 3.3-3. Same error there!
