I have made a ned image alias in the image.ini override file. How can I use this with the online editor. All I get there is reference, small, medium, large, rss and original.
This should be enough. Where did you put new image aliases per siteaccess (e.g admin) or in global override/image.ini.append.php? Try in override/image.ini.append.php, then clear the cache.
