Hi!
I want to disable debug in templates (the lines showing the filename of each template that is processed). I put the following in my siteaccess site.ini.append:
[TemplateSettings]
Debug=disabled
[DebugSettings]
DebugOutput=disabled
But it doesn't works! I put the same in site.ini. Why eZ publish follow on show me the debug info? [I am sorry about my english.] Thanks in advance, Cristian

Hi!
Try to modify the DebugSetting in "site.ini" (settings/site.ini) in this way:
DebugOutput=disabled
I hope is the right way!
Bye bye Valentina

All the debug options are disabled in the site.ini and also in the site.ini.access. I revised the Subversion logs searching what i did in the configuration files for activate the debug last week. I only changed the debug options in the site.ini.append, i didn't any "strange" thing! I can't understand because it doesn't work. Thanks for reply. Regards, Cristian

Cristian, did you clear all of the caches after making the change? Alex

Hi Alex Of course, the cache is cleared. In fact, all caches are disabled. Cristian

Hrrrrm, what version are you using? Fro mwhat you describe, you have made sure to update your site.ini.append for the site in question as well as the main site.ini with the proper settings, so this oculd be a bug if you are using a recent release... Alex

Hi
I am using the last non-beta eZ publish release: 3.3-5 (SVN revision 6264).
It is very strange. Now eZP shows me some template debug info and some not. For example, look at this page: http://www.tqr.biz/eZPublish/index.php/dq/certificacion/calidad. The debug info shown is:
design/dq/override/templates/page_head.tpl
design/dq/templates/columnaDerecha.tpl
design/dq/override/templates/embed_image.tpl
But if debug is enabled, it must show also:
design/dq/templates/cabecera.tpl
design/dq/override/templates/contenido.tpl
Can be this a bug? Thanks, Cristian

I would try two things: 1) check the site.ini.append.php in the settings/override folder to make sure there is not a debug option set in there. This setting overrides the other two. 2) delete the var/site_name/cache folder (or move it out of the var folder) Under certain circumstances it has taken quite a bit to shake off a template debug setting. Also, when you cleared the caches, I assume you cleared all the caches and not just the content cache...the ini cache has to be cleared for this setting to update. Not sure if either of these things will do the trick, but they are just a couple more troubleshooting options. Good luck...
