Hi and thanks for the quick reply.
I'm already using a width for this table and I even tried using
'options' => array( "mycolumn"=>array('width'=>100) ) but I was unsure where to set the columnname and besides, it resulted in the table not being rendered at all. The workaround I'm using now is to reduce the font size for the table cells and keep the table headers as large as before. It works but I don't feel too well with this solution. The problem is that there are table columns that can contain a lot of text and thus steal width from other columns. One column contains item codes and these were wrapped even though they're consecutive digits and characters without any spaces in-between.
Maybe I'll try an upgrade to 3.5 stable which hopefully solves this problem. But maybe someone has another idea how to solve this.
