How does ezpaypal work?

Lance Leger	Wednesday 08 December 2004 7:57:09 pm I've been unable to find documentation on how to successfully implement the ezpaypal extension in version 3.5. I have enabled this extension and configured all the ini files in /extension/ezpaypal/settings/. Do any changes have to be made to the paymentgateways.ini file? How is the ezpaypal extension supposed to work? Does it take information from an order and submit that information to PayPal during standard eZ publish product checkout? Any information on this extension would be greatly appreciated.

You should create a workflow: Go to "Setup->Workflows->NewWorkflow" Click on "AddEvent" and select "PaymentGateways" type of event. From available gateways select "Paypal". 2. To assign your "paypal" workflow to a trigger: Go to "Setup->Triggers" Assign your workflow to "show:checkout:before". 3. Now you are ready to test it: Go to your shop. Add some product. Click on "Checkout". After clicking on "Confirm order" you should be redirected to the PayPal.

1. You should create a workflow:
Go to "Setup->Workflows->NewWorkflow"
Click on "AddEvent" and select "PaymentGateways" type of event.
From available gateways select "Paypal".
2. To assign your "paypal" workflow to a trigger:
Go to "Setup->Triggers"
Assign your workflow to "show:checkout:before".
3. Now you are ready to test it:
Go to your shop.
Add some product.
Click on "Checkout".
After clicking on "Confirm order" you should be redirected to the PayPal.
