Hi there,

after searching through the forum and not finding an answer, I decided to try out a question myself. I'm a beginner with eZ publish so I hope I can make my question precise and understandable. If not, please be patient and tell me, then I will try to clarify.

We at Demon Internet (webmaster and I) are trying to find a flexible and user friendly CMS solution for our intranet. We want to make a site with a central (news etc.) page and pages/portals for all the different departments with the possibility to use a different menu navigation for each of that department site.

Is this possible with eZ publish, or do we need too many layers of menu for that? The pages for the different departments have to more that just pages where you can only publish news articles.

I hope this makes sense..

cheers,
Jasper

Yes eZ can do this. Its really a question of how to design each level in a way to allow it to fit together.

Take a look at our new site (http://www.visionwt.com) to see examples of this in action. Its not a plug ;) But we had just this problem and this is our solution. A good example of depth is here:

Hope this helps.
