to eZ crew: I would really appreciate some help on this issue - this question has been unanswered for more than halv a year now ... You seem to be somewhat quicker on the bugreport-side. Maybe I should try to introduce this thread there?

Hello Christopher

If you immediately want answers from eZ systems, then you should sign up for payed technical support (<i>http://ez.no/services/support</i>). Questions on the forum are mostly answered by community members.

The functionality you want is currently missing. You can however write your own template fetch function or add additional parameters for the time interval to the best_sell_list fetch function (in kernel/shop/ezshopfunctioncollection.php: eZShopFunctionCollection::fetchBestSellList).

You can also add an enhancement request in the bug tracker for this.

Good luck!

Hello Christopher

As far as I can see this should not be to hard to achieve. Have a look at the function Kristof refered to and you can see that it is generally a pretty simple sql statement. As each row in the table ezorder has an attribute for the created timestamp just add an addition WHERE clause which should limit the counted objects to the timeframe you desire.

To create your own template operator that does this have a look at the example for an extension here
http://ez.no/products/ez_publish/documentation/development/extensions/template_operator

Just use a copy of the original EZ function for your operator and add the timeframe restriction.

Greetings from Luxembourg

Claudia
