Hi!

Does anyone know where I can find a step-to-step guide on how to make my own templates? I have a site (with design etc) I want to move over to a eZ-installation. I'm looking for guide not written by the eZ team :) I have looked through the documentation for eZ-publish, and I think it's quite poor at this topic.

I have tried to find a guide for quite a time, but I have given up. I hope someone can help! :)

Maybe the old documentation can help you getting started: http://ez.no/products/ez_publish/documentation/building_an_ez_publish_site

Hi,

Welcome to eZ publish!

Another great resource is the book Learning eZ publish 3.

The best way to learn anything is to try (and try and try). Give yourself plenty of time and you'll find eZ can do just about anything.

The templates are handled nicely because they can create a default version of themselves. That gives you an excellent starting point, and if you have problems, you can always discard the new template and start over.

Good luck.
