Google Style Search Results Page.

Hi all, I'm working on a search results page and I'm finding the output lacks context, the standard search results are just links with no descriptive text (as found on Google and most other search engines).

I personally find this style of search result practically useless unless I have 6 hours to spare clicking seemingly anonymous links.

So my question is has anyone created a google style search results page like the following and if so how did you do it? If not can it be done (and how)?

What I would like is the found word shown in context as google does i.e.

Search results for the word "word"

<b>A link to the page that contains the word.</b>
...this is a part of the paragraph that contains the <b>word</b> you searched for on the website...
<i>this is the url of the page.</i>

Or would I be better off disregarding the built in search engine and just using a google powered search?
