Edit Templates

j jevack	Tuesday 04 October 2005 12:38:55 pm I'm a completely new ez user. I was warned about the steep learning curve....but i'm making my way through. I'm attempting to edit templates. I've followed the instructions (i'm reading the documentation for 3.4 and working with 3.6 because the docs for 3.6 are incomplete). Two issues arise. First, as i follow the steps to create a NEW OVERRIDE, i'm not presented with the SECTION dropdown nor CLASS dropdown as indicated in the directions. The second issues is that i do not have an edit icon next to each template file listed on the templates page. Is this an issue of these features not being part of 3.6? Should i be looking elsewhere to access the edit template interface?
Albert Hornos	Tuesday 11 October 2005 3:42:30 am Hi j! The problem is not that you have no icon, is that these are in another lay and the right toolbar are hiding the icons. But you should don't worry about that you can find the override templates at this path /path_to_ez/design/public_site(the name that you've chosed)/override/templates/new_override_template.tpl. Hi j!
The problem is not that you have no icon, is that these are in another lay and the right toolbar are hiding the icons.
But you should don't worry about that you can find the override templates at this path /path_to_ez/design/public_site(the name that you've chosed)/override/templates/new_override_template.tpl.
