Do not convert node title into friendly links ?

Hi,
by default my ez publish 3.7.4 converts system urls in virtual urls so for example the system will display /directory/companies/this_is_the_name_of_the_company

I like the system converting containing directory to friendly urls, but I don't like it converting individual nodes, because titles can be very long and ugly.

Is there a way to keep the containers as virtual friendly urls but the nodes as id such is /1 ?

Thanks,
Benj

Hi,

In your objects, add an attribute 'short_name' and put in the object name pattern : <short_name|name>

This is available within the folders but you can have it for every objects you made.

Hi Benj,

How did you solve this problem?

I'm having the same trouble, as i don't want the system to convert individual nodes, but use the id instead.

Is there any way i can do this?

Thanks in advance,
Sonia.

Hi Sonia,

Maybe the content/view/full/<node_id> can solve your problem ?
