Hi,

This is from menu.ini file

# A list of the current navigation parts and their names
# Each entry consists of the identifier as key and the name
# as value.
# Note: If you wish to have the name translatable you will
# need to create a dummy PHP file with the following in it
# ezi18n( 'kernel/navigationpart', 'Custom navigation', 'Navigation part' );
# This will cause the ezlupdate to include it in the .ts file.
[NavigationPart]
Part[ezcontentnavigationpart]=Content structure

Where (folder?) i must create dummy PHP file? What should be name of this file? I would like to create new tab in top menu which is translatable.

Thanks for any tips

The PHP file must be available to the ezlupdate program. The best way is to place a PHP file in your extension (if are you using one), then run ezlupdate with the <i>-e</i> option.

For example in <i>extension/myextension/classes/i18n.php</i>

Hi Amos,

Thank you for your reply. I would like to add one or tabs which are using already existing phrases in trnaslation.ts file.

Tab "Templates" which is linked to visual/templatelist and already translated in /design/admin/parts/visual/menu.

What NavigationPart I should use or If I must use NavigationPart?
Part[????]=???

The INI entry is related to the display name for the navigation part (for a section) and not the top menu name.
The top menu entry itself cannot be translated at this time.
