just installed ez7 (for good measure ez5). I have been trying to get through the "building..." tutorial and I have encountered a number of problems. I know this was designed for earlier versions and that some things may have been changed or moved in the newer versions I am working on, but it is kinda frustrating for a newbie to have to get into what is becoming a complex process of familiarizing myself with the app. Here are some issues I have not been able to solve-

- template problem

- assign an article to a folder
Clicking on the + icon results in the following error:
"The requested page could not be displayed. (3)
The requested object is not available.

Possible reasons:

The ID number of the object is incorrect. Please check the URL for spelling mistakes.
The object is no longer available. "

Can anybody help, please?

First a word of encouragement....don't give up, it is definitely worth it. I'm new to ez as well and it is proving to be a very robust system. I will say though, it can be tough going in the beginning.

I think I can help with your template problem. When first selecting the DESIGN tab, make sure you have set the site access box to the site which you want to affect changes to. Using your example, select 'mysite' from the dropdown and then procede to the templates screen.

good luck.
