I tried to run texttoimage with text containing Polish characters. Default charset for templates is 8859-2, but it looks like ezP is using different charset for texttoimage - Polish characters are not displayed correctly.

The question is how could I tell texttoimage to use ISO-8859-2. If texttoimage is using some characterset, could someone tell me what this charset is

The PHP function that texttoimage uses only supports Unicode using HTML entities encoding (&#xxx;), this encoding is however not supported by eZ publish yet.

You could try to enter the HTML entities directly in the text if the text is written in the template itself and not fetched from an object.
