I want to change the class of the root node, in ezp 3.5. It is a folder and I want it to be a "homepage".

I have created my new homepage class and it shows up correctly with his own template. also it is a container class and can have children. I've tried the "change with other node" functionality, but it's not allowed to do it with the root.

How do you change a node's class?

thanks!

I believe a part of the chess tutorial will help you greatly.

check a couple pages previous and next if you need more context. Good luck!

Frey, the tutorial you provided proved useful to unerstand the meaning of these configuration files ;-)

I guess you can not change a the class of a node, for instance transforming a folder into an article.

thanks,
