Hello;

I have a problem with my translation of ezwebin. Despite having all required settings up, the system doesn't seem to use ezwebin translation file.

My situation:
- administration backend is translated (system reads translation file from share folder)
- ezwebin isn't translated despite the .ts file in extension's translation folder.
- Ez components are correctly installed.
- the settings are correctly applied:
1. my installation covers only Polish language (yet it's strange that the system calls for "add language translation screen" every time I edit an object. It shouldn't be like this if I have only 1 language, isn't it?). It was built like this from the very beginning.
2. Language, locale is set correctly, etc. The admin backend is translated, but not ezwebin.

I have no idea what to do. Please help.

EDIT:
I have made another installation of eZ. I chose only Polish language. I skipped content in other languages, just to be sure. The installation ended successfully... Yet STILL ezwebin isn't translated (the only translation that's applied is the main translation from share folder). What's wrong? I'm installing eZ on php-fcgi 5.2.6.

eZ Crew? Help?

... this really sounds weird, but it's a real problem. In the end I'll be forced to hard-code translations in templates, I want to avoid this. >_<

Can you think about it and tell me what could be wrong?

Are you sure your translation.ts file is readable by the web server?
Did you check if the translation is really done (check it with linguist)?
What tells you the Debug? Do you have some "Warning: ezi18n" output?
Did you try with another language (spanish for example)?

Hi there;

I checked thoroughly the ezwebin translation file (the one supplied with ezwebin in eZ installation!!), and it had an error I couldn't define. o_O It just didn't work, despite proper coding, etc.

However, I created another translation based on untranslated .ts file, and now it seems to work well. It cost me lots of time, but anyway. As I finish it, I might send it to eZ Crew to implement.

Thanks for reply. It was really weird!

For eZ Crew:

I contributed a working translation file for eZ Webin 1.3-1
http://ez.no/developer/contribs/internationalization/ez_webin_1_3_1_polish_translation

Please replace it in the next eZ bundle. ^^
