Is it possible to disable auto login after user registration?

I have a workflow for user approval. When newly registered user clicks on the activation link, received via email, the system login him/her automatically. But when there is a workflow for user approval, at the moment of activation the user object doesn't exists and the system logins him as noone and he/she doesn't have access to anything.

I found this topic http://share.ez.no/forums/general/sending-emails-on-approval-rejection#comment61904, where there is advice to remove user activation&email approval. I configured this by

 VerifyUserEmail=disabled

Now users don't need to click on the link to activate their accounts, but the system still login them automatically.

Could someone know how to prevent that auto login?

Thanks.

Hello Elena,

I suggest creating a custom module view within an extension. You could base your view off a copy of the default user module view and edit it to not login the user during registration. Then change your templates to direct the user to this custom module view instead of the default.

This is what I would do if you need the feature you describe.

Cheers,

Heath

Hello Heath,

Thanks for your suggestion. I would try that (although I wish it were easier :-)

Kind regards,

Elena
