cache-block doesn´t work

Everytime the currentdate will be shown. can anyone help me? i can not find any way to fix it. my code in pagelayout.tpl {cache-block} {currentdate()} {/cache-block} the settings: [ContentSettings] ViewCaching=enabled [TemplateSettings] TemplateCache=enabled TemplateCompile=enabled TemplateOptimization=enabled

Did you clear ini cache? Your setting looks good. Main switch for cache block is ok:
[TemplateSettings]
TemplateCache=enabled

Is this settings in right steaccess?
Did you clear ini cache?

Btw if you publish something in the tree your cache-block will expiry, could be confusing.

I have defined "TemplateCache=true" in Override Settings.
