is set up following override rule and this rule works fine, but now no other page is able to fing pagelayout.tpl. i would like to know if the rule is correct and if there is a nice way to trace the template directories he is looking for.
override.ini

[home_master]
Source=pagelayout.tpl
MatchFile=home/pagelayout.tpl
Subdir=templates
Match[node]=2

error message

No template could be loaded for "pagelayout.tpl" using resource "design"

Do you have by accident more than one [home_master] declared?

If not, clear all caches, stop accelerators and restart everything (= eZ CTRL ALT DEL).

i tested this with just this entry in override.ini. i also tried other templates ie folder.tpl and get the same strange error. i guess it depends on some strange site.ini settings.

solved this problem.
when i set up following lines in in /settings/sitename/site.ini.append i thought it would just disable the cache but in fact i would disable some more than that. Could be explained in site.ini.

[OverrideSettings]
Cache=disabled
