While setting up a new site using the newest 3.2 install my article class disappeared from the content class list.

I have created a couple custom classes for feedback forms and paged articles but I did not do anything to remove the article class.

Articles where still showing on the site and the were still available under the create menus of the admin, I just could not view them in the content class list.

There were no drafts waiting, the trash was emptied, and the cache was cleared (manually of course, gotta fix that guys).

After checking the ezcontentclass_classgroup table in the database I noticed that of the originally installed classes, the article class was the only one with contentclass_version=1 all the others where 0. I changed the value to 0 manually and now the article class is available again under the content class list.

I noticed that ezcontentclass_classgroup has a double listing for one of my custom classes. There are two entries, one with version 1 and one with version 0. Will I also need to manually delete one of these later to keep my custom class from disappearing? How might this have occured and how can I avoid it in the future?
