I heve been working with ezpublish 3.3.3 for a while on a local server for development (faster than working directly on the public server). The idea is to upload all the contents (database and binaries) when the work is done, and then continue working on the live public server.

I searched the forum looking for a tutorial/topic on how to copy all contents from local to public machine, found one, and followed it.

http://www.ez.no/community/forum/install_configuration/uploading_my_site_from_local_to_web

The classes, users, conetntobject, and content object attributes work just fine, but binaries like jpg and gif files will not, I mean the image associated to an article will not show while the text will do.

Does anybody have any idea of what do I have to upolad to make the site work perfectly on the public server?

Thanks.

Can you feel it Mr. Anderson? Closing in on you? Oh I can, I really should thank you after all. It was, after all, it was your life that taught me the purpose of all life. Purpose of life is to end.

Hi

The problem can be wrong permissions on the /var directory in you eZ publish installation. If you have shell access to the server try to run the /bin/modfix.sh, that should fix the permissions.
