Will 3.8 work on php 4.3.9 as this is the latest version for redhat 4 Peter

No, You have to use 3.6 ... or better, try to compile/install 4.4 along with 3.8.2 when it comes out (lots of important bug fixes) --paul

Or even better: eZp 3.8.2 with php4.4.3 witch is in rc2 right now.

It is not available yet as an official download (I guess this will be something for august/september). If it is urgent and you do not need the multi-lingual features of 3.8, use php4.4 with ezp 3.7 (the latter is what we use on production servers now). hth --paul
