I am working on a project called "India Development Gateway". In this
project we have to develop a web portal focusing five major area like
Primary Education, Agriculture, Health, etc..
in short ..
InDG is a Country led initiative that will target specific country
needs in the domain of rural and social development. The Gateway will
provide responsive and credible information products and services that
respond to the real and strategic needs of the unreached, especially women
and poor, in their local language.
for this i told to use eZ publish CMS. but i am very new user to eZ
publish. There are my some problems...
1.
one important thing is that our multimedia expert develop the some 2-3
web pages for this project. we have to use that pages, but suppose i use
corporate_site package then it has only 1 pagelayout.tpl template, and we
can change only dynamic contents not whole layout. but pages developed by
our MM expert have different layouts, then what should i do??
and i am exploring eZ publish with Corporate_Site. Actually there are
many
site packages, but for this project which package will be best suited????
2.
In the setup tab of admin interface there are so many options few of
them i know how to use them, but most of them i donot know how to use
them. Please tell me in detail how should i work with them????
3.
one more suppose i am curently using corporate_site package. And now i
want to use Plain_site package, i have uploaded this package but i am not
able to use this package. Is it possible to do so??? if possible then
tell me...
4.
one tool for translation ezlupdate and linguist. I have downloaded this
tool but how to it is usefull for translation??
