Where does the file: share/translations/eng-US/translation.ts live?

In settings/override/site.ini.append.php I changed [RegionalSettings] Locale=eng-US to [RegionalSettings] Locale=eng-GB and that got rid of the error Now why did the installation wizard give me the choice of eng-US if it isn't supported ? M.
