Hi,

I got installed 3.0.1 with no problem :-) (RedHat 8, PHP 4.2.2, MySQL 3.23.54). Got demo site working :-)
I didn't do any additional configuration.

I went to admin panel (http://www.my_domain.com/ezpublish/index.php/admin).
In admin panel I got class object list:
White box
News
Crossroads forum
...
My site

I wanted to edit one of this object. For example White box. For this object the link is http://www.my_domain.com/ezpublish/index.php/admin/content/view/full/16
When I clicked on this link i got a new incomplete site with the following error:

Module not found
The requested module 'index.php' could not be found.

and the link in browser was
http://www.my_domain.com/ezpublish/index.php/admin/content/edit/15/6//

when i removed the last '/' i got the proper page (Edit Folder - White box).

What is wrong ?
Thanks for any help.

Hi,

I asked this problem twice and got no answer.
Is the question I asked a dump question. For me it is evident error. Why nobody from ez team want to help me?
I want to prepare some kind of presentation for my potential client for this system but I CAN NOT. It's vary sad for me. I see ezPublish very promissing for me.

I think this is related to apache 2. We've experienced some problems with apache 2 and eZ publish. PHP is not stable under apache 2 so it's not recommended to run eZ publish under apache 2.

We've also encountered problems when running eZ publish in without mod rewrite under apache 2, you get "object not found" from apache.

We are currently testing eZ publish under apache 2, and will post solutions on ez.no as soon as we have it. Any suggestions for solutions is welcome.

Is there already somekind of solution for this specific problem ? Last reply for this problem was made on 4th of April and its been some time. I have exact same problem with extra / at the end of URL.

Fred
