Hi,

I know people are sick of kernel 50 messages but I'm *sure* I havn't missed anything out.

Upgrading to 3-3 on a new machine.
Can connect to local mysql on the console.
Can connect to local mysql through php in plain php file.
Mysql sock is fine I've checked.
Can connect to local mysql using both TCP and sock.
Can connect to the *old* database on my internal network by setting its hostname in site.ini.
But when I try connect local database I get a kernel 50 both on the setup with a new dist and copied accross old version.
Password and username are fine (work with the old host and they are the same on the nes mysql server.)

This is bizzare. No apache error log. No php error log. No ezpublish error log. No mysql error log.

I have no idea what to do.

Regards,
WIllie

In the end I've had to set up a new database on the old machine and use that. Its so bizzare. The only thing that can't connect to my database on localhost is ezpublish. All other php apps, all other apps and clients can.
