Now, running ez install, I get the following message @http://localhost/index.php: The page cannot be found @http://localhost/ I've got a confirmation that Apache is running Otherwise, I run MySql/PhP/Win NT
Lazaro Ferreira	Friday 01 October 2004 8:12:31 am Hi, if at http://localhost/ you are getting apache default page, then it is pointed to apache default document root. if you installed EZP at apache document root, then http://localhost/index.php will only work if EZP index.php file is there, but if EZP is under apache document root, or any other dir you should get a <i>The page cannot be found</i> error Lazaro http://www.mzbusiness.com
Henning Sund	Monday 04 October 2004 12:56:14 am Mmmmhh...eeeer....you're probably right. But I don't understand by your reply what I should do to solve the problem. I have close to none practical experience in setting up a server. Just some theoretical. I just notice that apache is up and running, so is MySql, but that EZ won't install since it doesn't seem to find the localhost/index.php file. Should I re-install EZ, move the EZ-directory from root to.....where? Or any other suggestions?

Robin Sørlie	Monday 04 October 2004 4:46:09 am Did you install in a subdirectory? If you downloaded the tar/zip file and unpacked it at the webroot, it might be in a subfolder called ezpublish-[version]. So if you downloaded 3.4.2 try http://localhost/ezpublish-3.4.2/index.php
