unable to download distributions

Joshua M	Saturday 27 December 2003 8:50:52 pm I tried to download both the zip and tar.gz of 3.3 it prompted me to save to sytem and when said ok, saved an invalid file. I also tried doing this with a download manager, at which point i was given a login prompt. So i decided to directly log into the ez.no site and try both methods again. had no impact. I am in the process of trying to evaluate this along with two other CMS products for a multi-website launch. Based on features and the large need for effective RSS management, i'm leaning towards EZ, but need to be able to download. HELP....

Download managers usually fail to download stuff from ez.no because they attempt to fetch the same file in multiple chunks (at the same time) - our server system does not allow this kind of behaviour. You could also attempt to download eZ publish using wget from within your favourite shell, like this: "wget http://www.ez.no/content/download/45707/118346/file/ezpublish-3.3-1.tar.gz" If you're still unable to download then I guess we could just send you the latest stable release by E-mail.
