Initially had problem with time out & couldn't fix the problem via php.ini because I couldn't find it anywhere on my computer.

So I shut down everything, restart the computer... restart ezpubishing (click on the shortcut that starts apache, mysql, php etc.), and loaded my index.php -- but still got the timeout problem... hit F5 to reload... get a bit further ahead, but still timed out... hit F5 to reload... got futher still, but still timed out... hit F5 to reload and finally it work (finished compiling).

Repeat when trying to access the admin module.

Once you do through the loop once, it will load up a lot (!) faster next time.

Cheers.

Thanks for the clue ! As a newbee, I was completely lost with this time-out message.

By the way, still as a newbee, I used the following setup in site.ini

MatchOrder=uri
#HostMatchRegexp=^(.+)\.myhost\.com$
#HostMatchRegexpItem=1
#HostMatchSubtextPre=
#HostMatchSubtextPost=.myhost.com

HostMatchMapItems[]=localhost/ez/index.php/user;user
HostMatchMapItems[]=localhost/ez/index.php/admin;admin

I don't understand what I did, but it works !

Hope this helps the newbee community...
