Here are the details: Linux server MySQL database (empty) Design, Settings and var folders, subfolders and files all CHMOD 777 I had an earlier version of ezPublish working fine on the same server, same directory and same database (just decided to do a clean install). The user name and password I'm using allow me to open the database using phpMyAdmin. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Cheers, Fraser

Fraser Hore	Sunday 30 October 2005 1:26:50 am OK, solved my own problem. phpMyAdmin said that my database was running on Localhost so I assumed that this was the correct host. I guess phpMyAdmin is running on Localhost!!! So, put the address of the mySQL server in for host and it worked. Arrggh it's always the simple dumb mistakes that cause hours of frustration! Cheers
