Stefan, Prior to installation, you should ensure the server meets eZ's requirements. http://ez.no/ezpublish/requirements I think it is risky to leave eZ partially installed on your server and accessible to everyone. Someone could complete the install and take over the application. You need some server support. If you are unfamiliar with these commands, contact your hosting company, they should help you. You may want to have them check the requirements first. If you need additional technical support, you can contact eZ, or one of their partners. Good luck.
