Still hung up on limit of eight items in main template

I've posted this question before to no avail.
I have hunted many more times since for the bit of code that sets a limit of eight line_class_xx items in a view.
The main pagelayout.tpl simply calls the content module.
I've looked all through the templates and PHP files for the number 8, and also the number 7 in case there is a loop going 0 to 7.
Does anyone have any idea where this limit is set, or how to override it. I'm getting frustrated because the first bits of content on my regularly updated site have disappeared off the bottom and I want to still show them.
Regards
Richard.

Actually the module is called before the pagelayout then the pagelayout simple shows the text result from that module.

The limit is determined by the template, I'm guessing that you have demo installed or that you are using the user design.
If so look in design/user/override/templates/node/view/ and look in any full_class_n.tpl files, for instance full_class_1.tpl contains an 8 item limit.
You probably want to create your own design with custom template overrides.

Thank you.
I had played with that 8 many times to no effect previously but now it seems to work. It must be something to do with caching somewhere even though I've had ezPublish's caching turned off for a while now.
The full_class_1.tpl is important here because it is the override template for folder views, something I hadn't appreciated previously. It was a major missing link in my understanding.
