I'm currently trying to set up an Ezpublish system for my own company, on a webhotel.

I have downloaded the latest version EzPublish (ver.3.7.3), extracted it on my homecomputer and uploaded it via FTP to my webhotel. So far no problems. The webhotel has the following specs:

php5
mysql 4.1
ssl
cgi scripts
unix shell
ftp
Front page server extensions

(rented space from www.domeneshop.no)

During setup:

System: OK
Image system: ImageGD
Mail: sendmail
Database: MySQL

Language: - I can't choose my own language, but I can click next-

After that I get an error saying I'm using the wrong database (the mysql is using the ISO- 8859-I standard, while eZ asks for UTF-8)

How do I solve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

I have noted that eZ doesn't work with php5.

Can my database problems have any connection with it?
