Hi ,
I checked some posts concerning to safe mode ON but no succeeded how to overcome this issue. I know there is a hack related to 3.x version how to handle images. But from that time with version 4.x a lot of things has changed.
If I didnt succeed to handle recommendations from initial install screen (4.5 and more), I will not succeed to properly install the EZ.

Could anyone make summary how to completely handle safe mode ON on webhosting servers? Or to tell some opinion if EZ is worth to fight with this restriction?
As I know most of the webhosting servers they have safe mode ON and no way how to change it without paying for the whole serverhosting.

Any opinion is welcomed
Thanks
Tomas

Your hosting provider can disable local safe_mode as well, for example only for your eZ publish directory. Then you can use eZ publish with full functionality.
