Exactly which ini setting are you talking about?

Sure, but the name of the ini setting you are changing? (inside site.ini.append.php)

[SiteAccessSettings]RequireUserLogin=false (changed from "true")

what is the easiest way to make the site public without userlogin needed ?

that should do it. Check that anonymous users have read access to your site, something like:
content read Section( Standard section )
content read Section( Media )
content pdf Section( Standard section )
user login *

hi frederik,

i checked the settings, it seems all ok, but the kernel (1) error is still there. you can see it at: www.vandeloow.net.

did you have another idea to fix this error ? i just want to have a public site, without user login needed.
