Hello everybody!

I'm experiencing problems with eZp3(have tried 3.0 and the 3.1 beta's) on Linux (PHP 4.3, postgreSQL, Apache).

What I have done:

- uploaded the site via FTP
- gotten through the setup of the site
- tested www.solamente.no - didn't work
- changed site.ini, www.solamente.no & admin.solamente.no

Everything is done right, except the safe mode & open_basedir is enabled. I've asked my host(a pro-programmer), but he can't switch off the security-settings. He says he generally wouldn't recommend to switch of the PHP security-settings, just because the PHP-application is not correctly programmed.

What happens:
- the demo start page (pagelayout_news.tpl) is locked.
- try for your self; http://www.solamente.no

I'M STUCK!

Have anybody got ideas of what could be wrong?

Thanks in advance!
Marius
