After upgrading to ezpublish 4.2 everything works fine with firefox, but in IE 6, 7 and 8 users can not login ( I can access admin but users can not login). When in site.ini I SessionNamePerSiteAccess=enabled then user can login with IE, then after closing his browser and opening again he can not login and I have to set "SessionNamePerSiteAccess=disabled" and they can login and I have to switch enabled and disabled to let them login. I will be more than happy if someone could help me.

Hi Ali,

Could you try emptying the browser cache, re-open the browser and check again? Also make sure to clear the eZ cache. Let me know if that works.

Use the Fiddler IE plugin to sniff out the connection between IE and eZP (or wireshark).

Run the same test on the same pc using Firefox.

Check if there are two eZ session cookies that are sent, out of which IE always picks the second (or at least, the wrong one).

Fiddle around with SessionNamePerSiteAccess but also the domain that is sent by eZ for cookie validity.
