Notifications are not sent when an object is removed?

It seems that notifications are not working when an object is deleted: eg if I use the "Keep me updated" button to watch the "Files" or the "Calendar" area, a notification is sent when an object is published or updated, but not when it is deleted. It seems that the same problem occurs with ezwebin (if I watch a folder, a notification is sent when an article is published but not when it is deleted). Is this supposed to work in 4.4.0? thanks, Mathieu
