Hi all,
I realize that this topic has come up numerous times, but I haven't found a solution in the forums yet.
I'm using cache-blocks and PHP Accelerator to improve the loading time of my pages. This works pretty well. The problem is that when (for instance) a news-item is changed, not only the page that has the news-item on it has to be reloaded (and re-cached), but seemingly all the pages in the site.
Seeing as my site has a pretty good update time (at least every hour), the advantages of caching are less than expected. Does anyone else have this problem (and preferably a solution as well ;) )? TIA,
Vivienne
PS. I'm using:
- Apache 1.3.27
- EZP Version: 3.1-1 Revision: 2703
- PHP version 4.3.2 - MySQL 3.23.55
