is there somebody use vhost on a alone pc with win2k?

does the server name in vhost must the same as the w2k host name?
i cannot let vhost servername work,it always go to a serch engine,not show as 127.0.0.1

BTW, i install ez in the root ,can i only put
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule !\.(gif|jpg|png|js|css|html)$ /index.php
in the httpd.conf,not in virtual host section?
