Hi,
I just joined the group of EZ users and immediately ran into a problem during installation.
It's the dreaded 8M limit problem.
I contacted my webhost and they are willing to add a vituralhost conf file supplied by me to solve the problem, which causes a new problem - how to make one. Does anybody have an example virtualhost file I could take a look at? I also read about being able to tweak memory through .htaccess. I entered the code I found here <FilesMatch "\.(php|html?)$">
php_value memory_limit 20M
</FilesMatch> - but setup still complains about the lack of memory.

Thanks
Michael

Try this instead, maybe that works ..
<b>
ini_set("memory_limit" , "20M");
</b>

Roger,
Does that line go into .htaccess or conf file?

I got the install to work. It still complains about the mem limit, but I could install EZPublish and so far it works flawless.

Here's my .htaccess
<FilesMatch "\.(php|html?)$">
php_value memory_limit 20M
</FilesMatch>
php_value magic_quotes_gpc 0
php_value register_globals 0

The method the setup uses to check the momery limit will only work for the limit in the php.ini file (not for .htaccess or in the apache conf file)
