Alessandro Cipriani	Wednesday 21 January 2004 2:40:13 am hi all i developed my own site on localhost whit articles and infopages containing images. I "uploaded" my images with no problems and i have been able to view them. then i uploaded my site on a remote server (win2k - same ezpublish version [3.3.1]) and i get this error: when i upload an image i can't see it! i have full access to the server so i enabled the debugOutput and i got this error: Warning: eZImageShellHandler::convert Jan 21 2004 11:12:15 Failed executing: C:\WINNT\system32/convertim.exe "-quality" "75" "-geometry" "600x600>" "var/corporate/storage/images/l_offerta/prodotti/gestione_impianti/646-9-ita-IT/gestione_impianti.jpg" "JPEG:var/corporate/storage/images/l_offerta/prodotti/gestione_impianti/646-9-ita-IT/gestione_impianti_reference.jpg", Error: , Return: 1 Error: eZImageManager::createImageAlias Jan 21 2004 11:12:15 Failed converting var/corporate/storage/images/l_offerta/prodotti/gestione_impianti/646-9-ita-IT/gestione_impianti.jpg to alias original in directory var/corporate/storage/images/l_offerta/prodotti/gestione_impianti/646-9-ita-IT Error: eZImageManager::createImageAlias Jan 21 2004 11:12:15 Failed creating the referenced alias reference, cannot create alias medium in the first message you can read "Failed executing: C:\WINNT\system32/convertim.exe" i saw that this is a not correct path (because of the "/" slash...) and i searched the c:\winnt\system32\convertim.exe without finding it!! i also searched the convertim file in the ezpublish root with no result... any hint? thanks a lot alessandro

This file has the info about path and filename of the ImageMagick "convert" (or "convertim") file. Of course, this file/directory is not the same on the server. You must change this .ini setting on the server to reflect the directoryname and filename of "convert" of the ImageMagick installation on the server. Of course, this required, that you have ImageMagick installed and running on your server AND will only work, when PHP safe mode in DISabled. hi all

in the first message you can read
