The flash I can use in websiteinterface is the ordinary flash. Not video. I found one thing:
http://projects.ez.no/ezvideoflv

But this looks like a video converter. Or is it more her? Only need to put a .flv in an article the same way I put in quicktime.

Is it the datatype "media" that has to extended? I see flash video used in the flow extension.

ezflv is a very nice extension if you're planning to work with videos.

read carefully the instructions given inside the folder, because you will need to install some things in your server for working with it. you will also need an extra php library.

the best part of this extension is the flexibility you get. you can upload any type of video (avi, mpg...) and it will be converted to flv file.

the extension also includes a player. i have not changed it, but i think you can play with another player if you want. i think there's a configuration.

And it also includes a datatype. you can add an attribute of this datatype to your article class and then just show your video using {attribute_view_gui attribute=$node.data_map.video} or something like this.

we're really happy with this extension, so i recommend it.

Hi Erland

If I upload a .flv will it it be recompressed ?

The extension detects if the uploaded file is already in flv format and saves it as is. (i.e. no recompression)
