Hello,
I have a site where the generated password is not recognized by ezPublish.. any idea which can cause this & how to fix it.
It is quite urgent..

Hi,
I have never seen this failing, but anyway, could you explain a bit more what you're doing and what is failing?
Just to review the process, you have the following steps:
- Forgot password link, with an html form
- Receiving an email with a link using an "hash"
- Receive another email with the generated password
- Login!
At which step this is failing? Best regards.

Hi Christophe,
Exactly, I receive the last email including the password but I can not login with it.
What I've noticed is that I can still login with the previous password.. so somehow the password is generated but is not stored in the system...
We've tried with various users.. several times.. Thank you for your reply!

Hello, The configuration is: CentOS, Oracle, eZPublish 4.01.

The issue has been identified & fixed by EzSystems Support team.
Apparently the cause was MinPasswordLength was bigger than GeneratePasswordLength
MinPasswordLength=8
GeneratePasswordLength=6 Thank you
